Technicians with back gnd in electrical & mechanical exposure wanted for a major semiconductor company.
We are looking to hire some technicians to work on our test floor. The job profile includes working on handlers , wafersort probers & pcb layout, data collection etc. Good benefits & great working environment.

Sounds like a Fab and not any of these vendors you've mentioned. If it were NVLS then stay the fuck away. That is one big screwed up company with all those AMAT executives in there spending money on themselves. Just the past week the VP / GM left and took 4 directors with him.

I have a BSME and worked for AMAT for almost 4 years. Burnt me out pretty bad so after I got laid off (2 years ago) I went the self employment route. If I could get an hourly gig (non exempt) then I may consider going back to this sort of thing. That and I can't travel anymore due to having a kid (I think that was one of the reasons I got laid off but you won't hear that from them). If you think I'd be an asset to the company then forward this post to HR or whatever and we can follow up from there. I gaurantee I'm qualified if not overqualified for many positions you have.

Does anybody on barf. who works for Semiconductor Industries, know anyone or have connections with the Maintenance Tech. Dept. that deals with (HIGH VACUUM PUMPS)?
