where do I go to get racing foam seat pads?
I assume that I can just go online and order square footage of it, right?
and what is a good price for it?
The foam from craft stores are supposed to be much cheaper. But they don't come with the adhesive.
I think sharkskinz sells them in small squares of 12"X12" and in different thicknesses. I think I paid $40 for a square. The ones at the craft store are like a couple dollars for the same size square.

Sharkskinz sells 14x14 pads witha sticky back that you cut to fit.
They're 18 or 22 bucks depending on whether you want 1/2" or 3/4".
Just look in the bodywork section for any bike, it's down at the bottom next to the fasteners.

Cal-Neva Rubber in San Leandro has all kinds.
If the cheap stuff doesn't come with adhesive then you could try automotive adhesive available at any autoparts store (spray can)...though I have no idea what it's going to do to the plastics so test it first before spraying anything.
I've used this stuff in my cars when I was installing sunroofs and it's pretty good. Clean both surfaces, spray both contact points, allow it to tack up and then press together.
Just a thought.
