Responsible for overall network and system administration duties needed to maintain a firms networks, servers and desktop systems.

Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain Redhat & Fedora based servers (including a network backup system)
- Maintain network(s) of about 200 machines
- Create and manage multiple independent Lab networks
- Interface with geographically separated networks and system administration teams
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years experience in demonstrating strong network and system administration skills.
- 3+ years of experience in Linux based environment (Fedora, Redhat)
- 3+ years experience in Server Application skills (Bind, SMTP, Sendmail)
- 3+ years experience in Networking skills (Firewalls, VPN, VLANs, Wireless LANs, DHCP)
- Strong knowledge of configuring switches, routers, firewalls
- Programming ability for managing system admin duties (shell, perl, etc)
- Experience with managing daemon software processes.
- Experience with using backup software and skills to setup a network backup system
- Must have excellent communication skills, follow-up skills and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to think outside the box
- Capable of grasping new concepts without prior experience along with willingness to learn.
- Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
One or more of the following experience is a great plus:
- Experience with CVS, Apache, php, mySQL, pgSQL
- Experience with VoIP
- Experience with IDS/IPS
