I use either X-Copy or clone DVD along with Any DVD to copy my movies, it works great, but lately, ive been running into some DVD's that these 2 programs are unable to copy to burn, some of the new ones, "The forgotten" and "Resident evil 2" are the ones i ran into sofar that i cant seem to burn for some reason, and i think us pirates will be seeing more and more of these types of DVD's. I know nothing is impossible when it comes to pirating software/music/movies, theres always a way, did anyone find a way around this one yet?
Btw, If any feds are reading this, im asking this question for a friend. when i referred to myself as a pirate, i meant i was i sea pirate, HARRRRRRR.

simple. www.google.com and download dvdshrink. I've never found a disk that dvdshrink couldn't decrypt. Pair it up with Ahead Nero burning rom, and you've got a badass setup.

Fetch me my sword 'n eyepatch, i'm goin' COMPUTIN'!! HARRRR!!!!
Haven't got to the point of ripping DVD's, but I've found with 'copy protected' CD's, it helps to have a program that doesn't try and interpret the data in order to write it to another disk. You just want something that will copy bits from one media to the other.
That said -- pesky copy-hacked Windows CD's (or 'protected' audio CD's) usually copy OK on a Mac. ;)

I haven't burned any dvd's yet, but when it comes to burning cd's I've found Alcohol 120% to be one of the best burners for getting around copy protection.

I have, I've seen about 5 DVDs that DVDShrink couldn't "backup", and I tried using older versions of DVDShrink as well (once or twice and old version would work ??)

hey knee sparks, have you had any trouble with dvd X copy when you have tried to split the movie to 2 discs rather then burn it to just one (so it is not compressed)? I tried and it burns the first dvd fine, but on the second it errors out the moment i push the button to start burning the second dvd...
