Try LAM Research in Fremont, they are always hiring Engineers.
Good place to work with great benifits! Going on 12 years at the place myself

I suggest attending the on campus recruiting dates at your school if you have not done so already.

Some suggestions:

1. Contact the college recruiting departments at selected companies.

2. Don't bother applying for "supervisor" positions (unless you have mgmt experience).

3. Watch your spelling (yeah Spell Nazi)

4. Utilize your college career center

Rogue.... the college career center is a huge JOKE! They should eliminate that place to save money due to the budget crunch that we are faced with. I tried going into the career center for some ideas and hopefully a place to go once I get out. It ended up being a bunch of binders with job postings that are anywhere between 2-6 years old. Most of them were for summer camp positions that could be filled with a high school diploma. After asking for further assistance they logged me onto monster and told me to sign up..... what a waste of time. I walked out of the center worse off then when I went in.
