system tools

i was wondering something. Today i wanted to clear my system restore and some internet history. Since they eat up a lot of memeory.

so i click on: start>all programs> accessories> system tools

and i found out that the system tools folder was empty. kinda creepy. dont know how this is possible. Has anybody run into this problem before? I still have the programs that were in there i just have to go thru the control panel.

That's just the start menu, and can be customized or modified. And there's two of them - the All Users and you own profile's start menu.

Did they get moved to somewhere else on the start menu? Or the shortcuts are all just gone from the folder? If you didn't do it, who did? :confused

i know i didnt move them. its not a big whoop, i was just "HOLY SHIT" were did they go. the nightmare of moving gigs on and off the computer, plus re-formatiing going through my mind.

I just recently installed HL2, it comes with this stupid thing Valve. It might have been that, dont know. Plus i havent check on were those apps are in a month or so. i could have been anything.
