Does Anyone Know what Brand gloves those are, that Loris Capirossi is sporting? Anyone know where to buy them?

Years later and Im still looking for these AXO gloves?..

Anyone find a Euro distributor that has em??

It looks like nomi was probably right, and it's not just the #65 that's custom on those gloves. Even overseas , the AXO KK4R carbon gloves look almost nothing like the ones he's wearing.

Those gloves Loris wears are custom made. They said Spyke for a while, then Axo, now Berki... I'm not sure if he had a hand issue at one point or not, but when you're his size you need all the padding you can get.

He had a major metatarsal/wrist injury a few years ago, while wearing Dainese gloves iirc. Unfortunately the rest of the field hasn't caught on yet, and the market follows the crowd, which is still wearing cheap plastic, carbon, and metal bits that do relatively nothing to protect against impact injury. Closest thing to those would be BKS custom jobs with T-Pro armor in the area, a little thinner pad, and yours for only about $700 US.

I've read that Loris uses a more "motocross" clipon setup (thanks Liam) than other riders might. Look at the picture. He probably hurt his wrists enough that is range is limited, and he probably doesn't want to hurt them again.

You should have seen the glove that came off of Alex Hoffmans left hand after his turn 8 Laguna incident :green

I'll never buy Arlen Ness gloves...............
Pretty sure that they're made by another company with his logo added on.........

:loco Mark :loco

Never paid attention to Loris' custom gloves....they are so thick it looks like two gloves together. Like boxing gloves with fingers.
