phpbb photo gallery add-in/hack?

Anyone here ever set up a phpbb and added in a photo gallery option?
Know of a hack that works well? I know there are a few out there but wondering if anyone has any actual experience w/ any and is there one in particular that's easier to insert/edit than the others? Any I should avoid like the plague?
