View Full Version : adjust compression and rebound properly?

okay so i just finished the doc wong suspension clinic part1 (good stuff :thumbup) and need additional info.

i set my sag correctly (i think at least near the ballpark) and want to start messing w/ the compression and rebound settings.

what should i look for when i bounce the bike? how fast should it compress, how fast should it come back up? i ride primarily track (very slowly) on the TL if that helps any.

i'm attending the 2nd and possibly 3rd part (if it's available) of the DW suspension clinics but any additional insight particularly from the racers, is always helpful.

Well, if you take part II Gary will cover it in detail. I think he does in his second book as well.
