We are a Startup company located in Sunnyvale with about 150 employees and looking for various types of computer engineers...

Database engineer
Must have expert knowledge in database internals, with ability to produce a high performance database which operates on XML-defined schema in a semantic fashion. Must be skilled at index and database layout for real time data delivery to network protocols.
Experience with networking and web technologies including DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, and LDAP is a plus. Experience with appliance technology or embedded systems is a big plus.



Hardware Engineer
Fluency in the English language, the ability to write clear technical specifications, the ability to explain technical ideas and designs to peers and management, and independent problem solving abilities are required. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment, taking project from specification to end user acceptance. Must have a proven record of delivering software products.
Experience with networking and web technologies including DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, and LDAP is a plus. Experience with appliance technology or embedded systems is a big plus.
Min 8 years hardware development experience. Four-year degree in EE, ME or CE is required. A graduate degree is preferred.



Sr. Software Engineer: Linux/OpenSource
This is a position that requires strong coding and implementation, in addition to design skills. Strong Linux/Unix systems programming experience is required, as well as a knowledge of Unix software development tools.



Sr. Software Engineer: Core Technology
This is a position that requires strong coding and implementation, in addition to design skills. The candidate must be skilled in multi-threaded programming and distributed systems.
Knowledge of HA/VRRP is a plus, as is knowledge of distributed database solutions. The successful candidate will be a generalist willing to work on any area of the product.



Web Developer
A strong understanding of business processes – i.e. rooted in the ‘real world.’
Must be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing (including generating and obtaining consensus on specifications / documentation.)
Must have excellent planning and project management skills and be able to juggle multiple projects.
Technically superior with experience in ODBC, Linux environments, LDAP/RADIUS, content management tools and a variety of web development tools.
Working knowledge of Cold Fusion a plus.
Working knowledge of e-commerce functionality.
Working knowledge of robust web security implementations.
Experience applying supplied designs and branding guidelines to projects to achieve a consistent look and feel across all web properties.
Working knowledge of graphics tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign a plus.



Software Engineer
Unix or Linux, C, C++, or Java, DNS, LDAP, Kerberos, System, data, or services management, Web-based delivery of system management tools, Developing/delivering enterprise-grade and commercial software product.



Senior Software Engineer/Lead: LDAP Protocols/Internals
Lead development and implementation for the LDAP One server appliance
Propose and review architectures for LDAP technologies and other network products
Provide extensions, enhancements, transitions from current products to next generation products
Analyze customer and marketing requests for feasibility, costs and effort
Provide input to project schedules and report progress
Analyze defect reports, provide patches when required
Write technical specification and internal operation guides
Provide input for end user manuals
