Red Dragon does them. I can do them too but what did you want polished (i.e. the lip only)?

I can do the whole thing but time isn't really on my side to do such projects. Let me see if my friend's available. He does good work.

PM me your contact info and I'll make sure he contacts you.

Okay, I spoke to him and he said he'll do the whole bike (frame, subframe, swingarm, and the lips of the wheels) for $1200. He said he's working on some other bikes but can fit you in if you'd like.

PM me if you're interested.

Good price from what I've seen for a whole damn bike. That's a shitload of work.

Meetthedealer is right...

It was a bitch polishing the lip of my wheels and it took all day. You should check out his work first and then see if the price is worth it. It most likely will be.

All day to polish the lips of your rims? Musta been a short day. I'll time myself when I do mine for ya. :thumbup

I've done wheels in one day but it was the whole day (am to pm) and I wouldn't do it again. I guess you could cut your time in half if you do it with power tools. I do the wheels by hand and the frame with a machine.

The rear wheel took about three hours (easier access). I also used a Dremel tool to polish the rims (like chrome). The front wheel was a bitch. The paint didn't come off as easy as the rear. I let the paint remover sit twice as long even. I think it would have been easier to remove the wheel and brake discs. It all depends on how easy the paint comes off!!

The pic was taken at dusk it turned out kind of dark

Good luck with the polishing!.

True that. Haven't decided whether I'm going to take the wheels off the bike yet or not. At least it turn out looking good. What'd you use as a stripper?

Don't do it!
I polished out my frame and swingarm. Now, I may be too lazy, but it is a pain to take care of!
I'll never do it to one of my bikes again!

I used Aircraft Paint remover, I don't remember what brand. Maybe Jasco or something else..

Yeah, Jasco was what I'm going with. Potent stuff... I'm not tripping on the buff though. My plan is actually to strip it, buff it, then brush it. I like the brushed Alum. look a lot better than polished.
