as the fellow owner of a 95 M3. his car even with high miles is wtill worth in the 11-12K range or so.

A 2000 R1 is worth about........6000.

Forget KBB, Just go off prices on craigslist

can we just leave this post to selling my car and not telling me what my car is worth to whoever...this is what i am selling my car for and if you have another reasonable offer i will except those as well. As for telling me you can get the same car for way less somewhere else then why don't you get that one. i've babied my car and know what it is really worth to someone.

thanks

Price is a tad high for the mileage, however as a super bmw nerd i can assure you guys that the things that commonly break on the e36 have already broken and the car is going to be good to go for years to come.

Plus avus is the sexiest color too :thumbup

Good luck!

Not everything. I'd check the Rear shock tower mounts the metal is absurdly thin.
Especially with a stiffer aftermarket setup.

i replace the rear shock mounts already :) i've fixed everything that can go wrong on the car already. I installed Ground control rear shock mounts....i'm so smart. the price is negotiable make me a reasonable offer.

an m3 for 13k is a far cry from a civic for 30k. :)

8900 for a 95 e36 M3? I think I need to re-check craigslist for one at that price range.

2004r6: Good luck selling your car. If my budget for a car was a bit higher, I would seriously consider yours for purchase.

so far it looks like most everyone is very appreciative of this kind of car :) i wish i didn't have to sell it, especially before summer time. i have to get an SUV for my line of work now and this car isn't very effective. i'll keep replying to everyone as soon as possible.

STick to your guns and eventually you WILL get what you want for it, its funny when guys come one here and want to tell you want your car is worth, and make stupid comments, who the hell do they think they are???

Good luck on your sale. KBB don't mean crap!!! I sold one of my cars that booked out for $8000 on KBB for $15K because it was in such good condition.

dont ever buy into the kbb crap...

what people are willing to pay is the actual price of the car and not some national average rating crap

KBB runs a regression on the car price as New...they're far from accurate. Then they expect the market to follow their lead...

Fuck KBB.

From my manheim dealer prices, here's a list of recently sold at dealer auctions (a couple million cars go through this company and its 60 or so sites a year). Take an average of these prices:

03/24/2005 MANHEIM $ 8,400 105,540 BLACK 6G NE
02/24/2005 MANHEIM $ 10,900 109,884 WHITE 6G 5 X NE
03/10/2005 MANHEIM $ 13,500 130,704 RED 6G 5 X NE
03/02/2005 DALLAS $ 7,400 153,044 BLACK 6G 5 SW

Good luck. The car looks Cherry! I'm sure you'll get darn near what you're asking, considering it's high wholesale...
