View Full Version : Anyone in biotech?

My sister just graduated from UC Berkeley.... she double majored in Molecular Cellular Biology and Immunizations.. she also minored in Education.. It's been a couple months and she's having a really hard time finding a job in biotech since there isn't much out there right now. And when a job is actually open, they usually want someone with more than 5+ years of experience. She's incredibly smart and it frustrates me to watch her sit around w/o a job. Are there any fellow barfers involved/familiar with biotech industry? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

My girlfriend is in a similar situation, will be graduating Tufts University with a BS in Chemical Engineering in May, has been looking for a job for a few months now, hasn't found anyone looking for recent college grads....she has a lot of relevant intern/undergrad experience and great grades, just no leads...

any help would be greatly appreciated!
