1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited
Fully loaded with full-time 4wd and Thule bike rack
173,000 miles (approx 130k on powertrain since it was towed behind a motorhome)

KBB private party (not retail) for "good" value is $5050, value for "fair" is $4350. NADA average retail is $4725

I'm just looking to get and give a fair deal. The average of those three prices is $4708. I want $4200 firm.

Have only had it since January 5th, bought it from a friend. Tried to go another winter on just the 929 but couldn't do it anymore, which is why I bought it. Now I'm getting into racing and need to fit a bike or equipment in the back which is why I'm getting a truck instead.

Since I've had it I have changed the spark plugs and wires, cerpentine belt, front and rear windshield wipers, and had the front axles and boots rebuilt/replaced. Also replaced both hydraulic arms in the liftgate. I had the fuel pressure checked and there are no problems there. There are a few paint blemishes, but nothing major. The computer sometimes says the liftgate is open when it is securely shut. I had that checked out and sensor is inside the latch assembly and I really didn't feel like having it messed with. Just wasn't a big deal to me.

Average about 13 mpg with the V8 according to the computer, which also gives direction of travel, outside air temperature, instant MPG, average MPG, how long you've been driving, and how far.

About the rough idle, when you're stopped it runs rough. When you're driving, at any speed, its completely smooth. My buddy said the rough idle was because it needs new motor mounts, but I forgot to have that checked out when I had it worked on.

If theres anything else you want to know, dont hesitate.

If anyone is interested I am going to be in the bay area the weekend of the 12th. I was planning on bringing a truck down there since I'm carrying a few things back, but if you are serious about it I can drive the Jeep down and rent a truck for the return trip. If thats the case, I'll require a $300 non-refundable deposit. If you do buy it, the $300 is part of the purchase price.
