Actually I can get track plastics for the whole thing for about $150 from another guy on this board. I was going to buy them, but the sale of the bike came about rather quickly.

I had one of those - see avatar - and it is about 250% better on the track than a hyabusa. not as hyper fast in a straight line, but handles way better and is lighter. With skill an 02 Daytona has great abilities. I used to run with RC51's and Ducati 998's no sweat. And Daytona's run really well at WSIR.....

Zed is the one with the plastics. Almost every piece that you can buy. That way you have good and track plastics with the bike.

Just a note. Triumph plastics are not inexpensive.

Nice Daytona. Sorry to see you having to sell it. Where did you get that exhaust? I'm trying to find a good manufacturer for when I get my 05 Speed Triple.

BlackWidow no longer makes sportbike exhausts. Power Maxx has been rumored to be doing some research into the new 05 S3.

Yep, only had plastic damage, never reported to insurance on the down

Also it just had it's 12,000 mile service, with the valve adjustment. So that is out of the way for another 6K miles.

Tires are at about 50% maybe a bit less. Warranty runs out in June of this year. I bought the bike brand new in a box in June of 03.
