I'm going to miss this bike. She's a steel this price. I've taken good care of her. She only needs to have the coolant drained. What else? I got 5k on the rear tire, so that will need to be replaced, but that is easy.....

oh yeah.. she's got a little over 11,000 miles, never been down.. but I've dropped her twice, she has some scratches on the left fairing... they are hard to see in the pics....
PM if you're interested.... I'll give you my work number.. you can see her anytime during the weekend or anytime during the work weeks btw. 6-10pm.... or early morning before 7am....

My buddy got hit in his cage Sunday morning at around 3am.... He was ok.. but it was in my area, about a mile near my home, the driver went over a double yellow off of 580, almost hit him head on, a place where I've seen other close calls... if I was there on my bike I probably wouldn't be here right now....
There are other reaons too... I have a daughter on the way (6/27) so I'm going to give up street riding for a while.. but on a positive note I'm going to get a new Honda or Suzuki dirt bike :teeth , and I'm going to get my daughter one too.. (when she's old enough)... I love riding and I'll miss it. but the drivers in my part of town are scary and I can't take that risk with a kid on the way.. at least not now....
I'll eventually get another street bike... but I need to get my family into a better school district first... it's either that or pay 1,000 -1,200 a month for private school.. which I can't afford..... so all this means passing actuarial exams and getting raises at work.....so there goes street riding....at least for a few years...

Just curious, how is that thing on gas, ya'know... gas mileage? Ever check it?

135 miles per tank... at current gas prices it cost around $7 to fill up...

I forgot to mention that there are some scratches on the right side of the fairing and by the seat.. Both of them were touched up by the previous owner... and they are hard to see in the pics...
If you come and see the bike don't expect it to look perfect like you see in the pics... this isn't a new bike.. it has over 11,000 miles.... the pics hide the scratches....
and I did do some riding last weekend... so expect to see some dirt too...;)

The pic was taken north of Knoxville Rd. though I'm not sure if it's on Knoxville... all I remember was there were 1-2 of these water crossings with slippery stuff at the bottom and that I had to be really smooth going through the H2O......
it was still fun though....

BTW, I think the pic was taken by Ravi (or Jim, not sure) from NCSVR.....

I was hoping I didn't have to write this... but here it goes....
I'm not desperate for money... so please don't even think about offering me $x,xxx in cash and then tell me you'll pick it up tonight.... that's right up there with the those signs that read, "I buy houses CASH" on the side of the road....
I'm not looking for a quick sale... I want a fair sale.....one in which the buyer and seller benefit equally.... If you want quick buy, please go to a dealer and they'll quickly take your cash....
