Man anyone ever try to put on those Harris carbon looking grips?

I bought some for the CBR (bought the CBR ones), and they looked real nice in the package. I tried to put them on and they are 2 pieces. So when trying to put them on....

1. the graphics got all phucked up. Can't even read that it says CBR no more :(

2. The inner part of the grip (2 pieces), came unglued from the outter (graphics are painted in between the grips)

3. Finally had to seperate the 2 to be able to fit them. Now the grips look like Shiat. Feel nice but looks like SHIAT.

I will post pics later.. My recommendation, Dont buy these haha

I have the red set on my bike and I helped my friend install the yellow ones on his bike. I did have a little trouble with the throttle side but wasn't too bad. Were you using glue? I did the red set on my bike first, using glue. Almost ruined the throttle side but was able to pull it off after it stopped half way and wouldn't slide any farther. I cleaned up the glue and shot some water inside the grip and on the throttle. The grip slide right on. After a few minutes the water had dried and the grip doesn't slip or twist.

I used alchol as the directions suggested. Tried the other side with water. You can't even read CBR anymore. ITs just a big smudge.
