I was wondering if cow mountain compares to clear creek as far as terrain. I think I am heading up this sunday for a day trip. does any body know if there is a trail map for cow mountain and if so how can I get one. Thanks in advance :teeth
Here's their site.

You can download a map from the site, or hopefully pick one up at the staging area- they go quick.
If there's any rain this week, give them a call first.

Thanks for the support I am not going after all. But it sounds like Moo Mountain is not real big but if you live near by its a fun place to ride

Matt, I have only ridden Cow Mountain once... for a Hare Scramble last year.
I do not know if it can be compared to Clear Creek. There are a lot of logging roads and a lot of technical single track. If you like tough single track with lots of steep descents and climbs, you will like Cow Mountain.
It is like Clear Creek used to be in the fact that the trails are not marked. If a map exists, I would be good to find one. The riding area is large and open. I thought that Cow Mountain was challenging and a blast to ride.

I was there a year ago, there's some maps at little stations along the trail, the problem is I think they were made 20 years ago and a lot of the trails have changed. i.e. We were on what we swore was a blue square and some how made it into an un-map-marked black diamond, there was a sign later on.
Trust the maps for trail locations, just not trail difficulty.:kicknuts

I've ridden enduros at both locations. IMO CM has more technical trails than CC. I had a blast at both places. Either way, they both are better than any off-road park like Hollister.
