Since I'm sponsored by Air-Tech, you can figure who'd I'd recommend. It depends on how much you want to spend, and how pretty you want it.
Airtech - good inexpensive race glass. about $500
Sharkskins - the Rolls Royce of bodywork, tough as nails, and is the painters choice. Fairly expensive, average around $800

I used Airtech last year and switched to Sharkskinz this year (because I got a good deal). I like the Sharkskinz better, but not so much that I wouldn't just go with whoever is the cheapest.

I use whatever I find used around the internet.
Currently running sharkskinz, before that used something similar to airtech where it disintegrated in Turn 8 at Sears.
Cost is a factor for some of us club racers, so it basically comes down to the more bang for the buck.
If cost isn't a factor, go with sharkskinz.
There's also a company called T3 that is around the pits which had killer deals on their stuff.

Errr... lots of consternation in the AFM about TK3 right now. Apparently they had a big fire and now no-one can contact them at all about anything (including racers who lent them bodywork to make molds)

wow. I didn't know that. They asked to use my bodywork as a prototype for ducati's and I almost considered doing it.
Man, no wonder I didn't see them in the last race I went to.
I guess you couldn't beat there deal (Buy one set and get another for 50% off).
Had a similar incident with Huge Industries.
Thanks for the info buddy,
Ron

I am just confused by what to get. Some companys are selling rear sections with padded seat or club style lowers. Not quite sure what's up. And does one last longer than another?

motoextreme.net will get you a good deal. just talk to adam. just FYI though, you won't get much of a deal on sharkskinz. they don't give much of a discount even to dealer's. :(

I can get any brand you want, if your willing to pay the price!!! We carry our own product line. Cycleskinz See pi'cs at motor-cycle-parts.com (http://www.motor-cycle-parts.com) Our race glass is currently used by racers across the nation, we make a very good quality low cost skin for club racers (spend the rest on a shock or tires etc.) :cool

Thats for sure, I get 25% mark up but have to pay shipping to my shop, then free shipping back out the the customer + the 3% on the credit card fee's. when its all said & done you make about $75-$90 off a $800-$900 order, somebodys making money but not the dealer for sure.
Hotbodies has a racer program for their new bodywork that they will sell a complete set to racers for $450 and claims its more flexible than sharkskinz? well see, I'm getting a set for mw F4i, I can get a full set with a spare upper & lower for the same price of a set of sharkskinz, hopefully the quailty is what they claim?
