Selling my 2001 Suzuki SV650. It's virtues are pretty well known, so you probably already know what great bikes these are!

This bike has ~9700 miles and is mechanically stock. Recent work includes: oil change, coolant flush, brake fluid flush, new Avon ST's (~300 miles).

It has some modifications:
1. Corbin seat- big improvement over the stocker!
2. Centerstand- very useful for maintenance jobs (plus it looks extra good when parked :cool )
3. F-15 windscreen for improved wind management.
4. V-Strom hand guards to keep your hands warm and dry.
5. Gel grips to keep your hands happy.
6. Has a topcase mounted onto a spare pillion seat for extra storage.
7. RKA soft luggage for longer trips.

Like many bikes that have been ridden, there are some imperfections. There are some light scratches on the tank from the tankbag. Had a no-speed drop that resulted in a small crease in the tank (hard to see), a cracked rear fairing, and the odo was replaced at 1702 miles with one that had zero miles.

Title is clean and in hand. Has CA registration valid until March '06.

Please contact me for any further information or pictures.

Sold!

Interested. Any suspension mods? How does a 49 state bike have a CAL reg? Thank you for your time.

I did replace the fork oil with 15wt oil, but that's it for the suspension. I won't deny that, like most SV's, the stock suspension could use some help.

Registration was no problem as I am the original owner, so no tricks needed. I purchased the bike in TN, though we also spent some time in MI.

Sure, have a look at this one! It's not beautiful, but it's quite functional.

Nope, no problems with the topcase. It's just a generic one, not Givi, but it locks and when it rains what's inside stays dry. I got an extra pillion seat and shaved the foam so the baseplate would mount better. The case is removable while leaving the seat on the bike. Also, there is no interference ffrom the the grab bar.
