Greetings! I just recently discovered this board, amazingly enough, and have been lurking for a bit - I know several of ya already, personally or from other boards.

I'm the guy you might see riding a gloss-black 748 down Del Puerto Canyon and Mines Rd. most sunny summer Sundays, or maybe on the backroads near Alices. I also race a 748/800 in AFM and CCS (first year, didn't work out so well...) as #964 in AFM and #12 in CCS. Been riding for 10 years or so, seriously on tracks for 2 1/2, and am a major track junkie - but in real life I'm a physicist, and almost no one I work with has the slightest clue why I enjoy sportbiking so much. Their loss!

Hey Jeff, welcome to BARF.....I'm pretty sure Ive spoken to you a while back off of club desmo, regarding racing, etc, etc....Ive also seen your pics at Nichols! Nice to have you w/ BARF as well....

Hey, thanks guys! Calvin, I do remember talking to you by email a while back - how's the 748? insyder, it depends, but mostly (as simply as I can put it) I blow things up with lasers and watch what happens - pretty cool, kinda like setting off fireworks when you were a kid. Remember the nerdy guys in high school with calculators slung on their belts and pocket protectors in their shirts? A lot of those guys grew up to be physicists...

So yeah, since we last spoke, prob almost a year ago, the DUC is back together, and doing great....

Also been doing a few trackdays since then, as well have a some schools lined up for 03, so all is well....you should enjoy BARF, we could always use more AFM expertise....
