So, last Saturday I went to Heimot and pruchased a pair of the Buffalo 365 gloves. I had a long talk with the fellow at the counter and Helmut himself. I was sold on the glove - it's has great stitching, uses premium cow and deer hides, and has had great reviews from folks who ride as much as I do. Only problem is that it doesn't fit my hand! :(

So, these gloves were only worn for 3 days before I came to realize that I have short ring and pinkie fingers. I tend to fit the long slender glove styles better....

Want more info on these practically brand new gloves?

I paid $169.95 + tax and the first $110 +Shipping takes them!

As you can see, the palms have slight discoloration from my 3 days of use. That happens with deer skin because the pigmentation is light colored...

I'm sure someone else will mention this - but you could have the fingers on your gloves shortened by Helimot.

Just a thought..

Thanks but I've already considered that and it would require a complete recut since the palms are too long. So simply shortening the fingers doesn't really fix all my problems.

So, I'm hoping for someone with the right size hands to scoop up the gloves for a lowered price!

Thanks for the bump!

how did helmut and the other guy not realize the gloves didn't fit you while you were there? Shouldn't it have been obvious that the fingers weren't the right fit? Did you wear them around the store, and try them on a bike, or did talking to the guys convince you over and above the actual fit?

I realize they're great gloves, we sell them at the shop, but I'm just curious how such an experience crew would let you out with gloves that didn't fit? Especially when it's their own gloves.
