I'm not able to be at the track but I just noticed Saturday's SB results. Good job AFM'ers Rapp(semi-AFM), Tigert, Earnest. I read about David Bell's crash. What happened to Stanton? GoGo had a DNF? Anyone got local details? Thanks.

Yeah plus I read that Norbert Katona had crashed in qualifying and was in Santa Rosa hospital, hope everyone is okay!

Looks like GoGo had a spill in Race #2.

I saw Jeff get some air time when he got lapped, but apart from some islolated shots, the tv version SBK races were yet another yawn fest.

I know it's different when you're actually there and can pick the race with in the race you want to watch, but I certainly wouldn't be buying commercials during anymore ama races.

Anyone know what happened to Sullivan (74) in race 2? He was up around 24th with a few laps to go then all it said was "out"

GoGo hit the air fence in T10. He said he was having transmission problems. Said it was dropping gears, getting stuck and just not working. He said he rode off the track after it slipped out of gear thinking he had broken the chain or something. Then it went back into gear and he got back in the race. It was not long after that that it got stuck again causing him to lose it in T10. It looked like the aftermath got on TV... (We were watching from the media center at the track)

Big props for GoGo, Dave Stanton, Berto, Chris Siglin, Andy Carman, Tigert, Earnest and all the other AFMers who took to the track with the big guys this weekend! I think our club came out very, very well represented.

(Berto especially kicked ass in Supersport, I think due to the luck he got from his hot umbrella girl...;))

#488 afm'er Great race I watched from the s-es or bread patch they called it. The power slide at the end of the race was fabulous every one cheered for you GREAT RACE.

91 Jeff you held your ground pretty ferm out there. I like the start you must of passed 5 riders going into turn 1 Over all your ride was consistant.

I seen mickel earnest bike but didn't see mikel.

Kim too bad I was there too late to see you ride.

To all the AFM'ERS you all did a great job you made it this far keep going.

I heard references several times on SPEED about the bikes getting light over the crest from T8 to T9 and the resulting headshake once the front end comes back down. One reference in particular was when DiSalvo wheelied over the crest. BTW nice pics of Michael too.;)

Great pics. Especially liked the one of Dave passing that "other" racer.;)

Glad to hear everyone that went down appears to be fairing decent. Interesting the commentary on Speed about having to helo Haskovec but no mention of others like Katona. Guess that would be too much bad press??

Also interesting that Mladin chose a harder compound tire on Sunday even though it was cooler than Saturday.

Oh yeah, what happened to Carman? Read or heard somewhere that he ran into some problems but no specifics.

Well, first he told me that it was "an electrical problem." Then later, he said it was "unsalvageable" and that he was glad he had another bike.

Bummer too, he was riding really well.... :(
