Anyone??? I'm really concerned - the pics of the crash are up on the AFM site, and it looks pretty horrendous.
C'mon, if someone knows his status, please update everyone.
Thanks.

Norm was released from Santa Rosa yesterday. I have had an email from him stating he had facial cuts and lots of other injuries, but no broken bones. He thanks everyone who helped out. Tom and Grace were a huge help, plus the rest of the gang!

YEAH! That's GREAT news that he's in decent shape. Those crash pics looked horrible.

Ouch...
Someone should have told Norm it's easier to get noticed on
TV if you just jump the start. :teeth
Glad he wasn't too banged up, it looks like a doozey of a
stack.

Holy CRAP! Those pictures look NASTY. Glad Norm's OK, we couldn't have the AFM without the "Flash". Get well soon. GP

That's great news, Norm is a good guy and I'm very glad he's not seriously injured.
I'm kinda worried about his concussion though, last week I sent Norm some money for GSXR air intake screens, I hope he remembers the deal. :)

Jeez - it must be pretty rare for your helmet to fly off - I would certainly be sending it to the manufacturer for an evaluation.
Glad Norm came out of OK though.
I have to say my new Arai didn't even leave me with a headache when I crashed hard at Buttonwillow - but now I'll have to buy another new one - anyone work for Arai?!!!

Hi all, this is Norms bro-in-law....Norms doing fine...another doctor visit today i think...
The helmet may have come off due to that 'fin' thing he put on top of his helmet,....apparently it may have dug into the ground on impact and caught some traction, and ripped the helmet off him.
as for his concussion....well...it can't have done any more damage than he already had :laughing
I will see him tonight and get another update...from what my sister said, he has quite a bit of road rash on his face....

Saw him tonight...he is just fine...a bit sore and walks like a gimp, but not much for roadrash...he had his stitches out (his forehead...)
other than that he is fine,.....i may have to visit him in the hospital though once he gets the bill for that helicopter flight...:laughing :laughing :laughing
