So this weekend was the first time I've seen AMA on the tv and saw it for my first time last year at Laguna. I also saw MOTOGP for the second time and the first time in perfect conditions. On to my question about the difference I noticed in the rear ends of both.

Why is it that the AMA guys are breaking the rear end lose so much in comparison to the MOTOGP guys? In the AMA I saw a lot of backing it in to the corners and the rear breaking lose when hard on the breaks and when excellerating out of the corners and even on a few straights. In comparison to the above there were really only a few times I saw the rear end breaking lose in MOTOGP and I never noticed anyone really backing it into the corners.

Why is this??

Traction Control.

MotoGP (and some people believe Mladin) has it and SuperBikes don't.

Can AMA Superbikes use non-OEM slipper clutches if they choose?

I would assume yes, but I know they have to use stock injectors as well so, I get confused.

Yeah I saw that, but I don't think we're hearing the whole story. If I were Mladin I wouldn't give up the complete truth either.
