Gobert listed as 17th, but he crashed?

Perhaps there are some finer points of AMA results listings, and scoring that I'm not familiar with....

but the results from the SuperSport race show Gobert in 17th place... he never crossed the finish line... and 17th place is above those that DID cross the finish line.

what am I missing?

because we got lapped by Hayden up to 17th, we never got to complete the "final" lap. that means 3 positions were lost to the lapped riders...

Yeah that sucked I could have lucked into 16th/17th.
