Just wanted to send out a huge THANKS to all those who helped me out this past weekend at Infineon:
Helimot European Accessories - Helmut, you went out of your way to deliver the best surprise of the weekend; my most excellent new leathers that look, fit and feel the best in the business, as always. A sponsor and a friend is the best gift of all.
Grant Matsushima/MPT racing - For building a great motor (on a seriously tight schedule) that kept screaming for more than I could give it, for your unequalled skill and advice in set up and for hooking me up with the fluids to keep the gixxer purring. Your team and riders are top notch, and for you to go out of your way to help a struggling back marker says volumes about you. Looking forward to working with you more in the future.
Ray Perez/RJP Suspension - Even though you are a cocktail fiend, you always manage to put up with my bitching and get me the sweet suspension set up. You da man!
K.C. Gager/BRG Racing - for the last minute dyno tuning and set up help to get the most out of the bike - you will be seeing much more of me and my friends in the future.
Dunlop Sport Tire Services - Dennis/Terry and crew, it's no wonder why you are winners. Thanks for all the help.
Cycle Gear San Jose - Tony & crew for getting me the rest of the supplies needed on short notice!
Bike World - Dennis & The Gang - For moral and sponsorship support, always with a smile and encouraging word.
Ohlins - Doug Shaw - The shock and damper worked perfectly; you guys are the best.
Dan Kyle & Gregg Spears - for hooking me up with the clip-ons, rearsets and fuel.
Also a thanks to Berto, Andy, Chris, Grant, Ryan, Matt and all the local fast guys for the moral support and providing me the motivation to start wicking it up again. It's been too long of a break for me....
Last but absolutely not least, my crew deserves way more than I gave them this weekend. Tiffany Palmer & Robie Yeazel, you guys put up with me with nary a complaint and did a great job, as always. Our newest crew member and AFM up and comer, Ed Shaimas, took to the role like a fish to water and really stepped up to help out the effort. I owe the whole weekend to you and will do my best to bring home a much better result next time out.
To my beautiful wife Margaret, I love you with all my heart and am blessed to have you and your support.
Now it's step by step back toward the front where we belong!
