Welcome to the latest addition to BARF
As we all know, many members of our forum are not only avid motorcyclists, but members of the Law Enforcement Community as well.
Many of these LEO members have offered priceless information and advice in regard to issues dealing with the law. Here, they now have a place to share even more with us in the future.
We sincerely hope that they will make use of this searchable forum and that this section will become an invaluable asset to the riding community as a whole.
Please, do realize that these members are doing this of their own volition, and that they are in no way being compensated, aside from garnering good will in the community by participating in this forum. Please also be aware that they, like us, are just people, and they should be treated with the same respect and courtesy we would afford any regular member.
This being said, this is not the forum for LEO bashing, but for a give and take type of discussion to benefit all of us.
With that said, please make good use of this portion of the site.

Yeah, its here.
I'd like to see an initial sticky with the following suggestions:
-A listing of the LEOs who want to get involved and a note stating that we are happy to answer questions via PM if someone does not want to post it for the whole world to see.
-Any info provided is our opinions only.
-No we don’t all want to tell you exactly which agency we work for.
-Anyone can look up any CA code at this website http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/calaw.html which will save themselves some time.
-We are all here to have fun. Feel free to cop bash, just don’t get too damn personal.
-We all like to ride and feel free to invite us for group rides.
-Yes we can sign off fix-it tickets if the violation is actually fixed.
-No we don’t really eat donuts.

We don't? ;)
And you forgot one more "suggestion"..
- If it really matters to you and you may be facing any possible consequences that you cannot afford (like jail), get yourself a friggin’ lawyer.

I don't see why people sweat cops, if you're not breaking the law, you have nothing to worry about right? (note to cops: I drive a white/grey Montero) -just in case.
Here's a tip, fresh baked REAL donuts are waaaaaay better than that Krispy Krap.

Sheesh, I dont know bout all that... Its about Bagels and Lattes!
I'm new to the forum but I think it's great to have a law enforcement thread. Cops are humans too and hopefully they can give insite to others on why they do what they do and try and explain some laws to those that don't undserstand so they do not get in trouble.
