good hot wing place around menlo park?

dying to eat some good hot wings... anybody???????

BBC has a surprisingly decent Fish-n-Chips. And don't forget Cafe Borone's Sausage Melt.

this is what sux about growing up in atlanta and being in the bay area... atlanta has some goooooooooooooood hot wing places. i tried cluck-u back in my college days but wasn't impressed...

i bet there are some good wing places around oakland...

You can make your own hot wings and they taste much better than the restaurants:

1. Rinse and separate chicken wings at the joint while removing the wing tip.

2. Dredge wings in flour and shake excess.

3. Heat canola or vegetable and when hot, deep fry wings until golden brown.

4. Place fried wings on bed of paper towels.

5. In a sauce pan, melt one stick of butter and combine with one large bottle of Louisiana Hot Sauce; add several "squirts" of Tabasco to kick up the heat and vinegary flavor

OPTIONAL: Exchange the large bottle of Louisiana Hot Sauce with a large bottle of Tabasco sauce to make "nuclear" hot wings.

6. Heat butter and hot sauce mixture on medium high heat and reduce until slightly thickened.

7. Place fried wings in a large bowl. Pour hot wing sauce over wings and toss until wings are coated.

8. Serve immediately with blue cheese dressing and lots of paper towels.

Sure it's a lot more work and you may not have scantily-clad women wearing orange short-shorts serving you beer but these are pretty tasty.

A bit south of you but Ontillo's Pizza on El Cam has really good wings and a damn fine meatball sub.

if my deep fryer wasn't broken i could have made you some killer hot wings. but it is broken so this post is useless.
