I think those double sliders are a pretty new thing.......

wouldn't it be cool if the qualifying for Laguna was held in the wet, but then the race was dry?

I'd love to see the speed of those things in the wet, first hand

also, notice in the pic that that is not Melandri's helmet, his Nolan helmet was fogging up so bad, he borrowed a 250 guys helmet and covered the stickers......

I think they do that for "feeling" the lean in the wet.

The Rooster tail affect is kinda cool, but I will take California sunshine over rain any (race) day.
