Christmas is-a-coming and I am looking into group options to attend the performance of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at HP Pavilion (San Jose), Friday, December 2nd. For normal ticket purchases, there are currently still good seats available at the lower ticket price of $35.50 plus fees. Performance starts at 8PM.

I will be calling today to get details regarding group discounts. Anyone who is interested in attending, please respond as soon as possible. I will edit this post to include updated details.

i'm not understanding how they have multiple shows, in different sates, on the same dates at the same time...?

Okay, spoke to the HP Pavilion Sales Office. First, the orchestra is made up of several hundred musicians, and can thus do shows at different locations. Sales guy compared it to the Harlem Globetrotters, who have more than one team touring simultaneously.

As for group sales, they don't do that for an event like this. He recommended purchasing for the whole group at the window, since there is no limit (there is online) and no fees.

If anyone is still interested, I'll try to do that.

I went last year and I am going this year in Sacramento. I recommend it to anyone that likes xmas/rock music, it is an awesome show. I got lucky and will be sitting in the 6th row, hopefully I won't catch on fire.

And the pyrotechnics at the end were :wow - we were waay in the back and felt the heat! :cool

WOW! I love Trans-Siberian Orchestra!!! never saw them but they're X mas Cd is my very favorite!!! They still have the guitar players from Sabotage right!? Count me in as I would love to go!!:thumbup
