I remember seeing something a while back about a southern california riding school that taught street strategies on dirtbikes. The theory being, of course, that if you push it too hard on the dirt you'll be a lot less hurt that if you did that on the street.
Anyone know of the school I'm talking about?

I remember reading a story by Lee Parks about a school down there, but I can't remember what it was called, or what the name of the celebrity racer who ran it was.
But, there's http://www.americansupercamp.com/ , which travels around the nation, and is a fantastic school.

I spent two days on a short track with Doug Chandler at his house riding XR100's. It was a total blast. Using a steel shoe for the first time is a pretty strange experience.
Unless you are in excellent shape, expect to be sore the next morning.
I recommend those schools for sure. Rich Oliver runs one, I'm not sure what it is called.
