I know a bunch of you already have them, so if you have them, post a picture of them. I just got mine today at Road Rider. (only $139 there)

Anyone have a broad sword I can borrow for a couple of days? :teeth

The gloves are cool, but I'm not all that sure that they match my helmet cover. :teeth

:wow oh shit, look at that! you are successful in being unique! I dont think a tinfoil speedo would get the looks your gonna get riding around in that. :banana

what size did you get?

I got the Large. They're a bit tight, but they should break in nicely. The XL were too big for my hands.

did you get that from the muppet link that was posted on here a couple days ago? or somewhere else? and how much for the puppet head cover? It kinda grows on you, even though you know you'll be laughed at like mad.

Getting laughed at is actually the goal. I like to say that I'm secure enough in my manhood to ride with this stuff on. I'm just hoping that the helmet cover stays on at 150mph. I'm gonna find out on Wednesday at the dragstrip. I figure that if I'm gonna get eliminated in the first round, I might as well do everything I can to get my picture in the paper. :teeth

Valgar, bummer you didn't have the 'twohander' here. Those gloves just look like they should be gripping something that can chop down a tree.

I have a katana and a wakizashi (sp) you can use. The broadsword, longsword, rapier, zweihander, shortsword, etc are still back in chicago....

Damn, those would look good wrapped around the zweihander! :D

Mission said they would special order em for me....can't wait!

zweihander? Familiar with lots of swords but not that one. Any details?

by the way, how heavy are those gloves?

The gloves are a bit heavier than my other gloves, but it's not that noticeable. The most noticeable difference is the fact that wrist movement is somewhat restricted due to the large titanium plates on the wrists.

As for the zweihander (literally translated "two hander"), picture a 20+ lb, 6-ft broadsword looking thing with about a 1.5-foot handle. (sometimes with a counterweight on the end of the handle) The blade is about 6" wide down it's entire length, and tapers slghtly at the end. The tip is usually not sharp because it was not meant as a thrusting weapon. The sword was usually good enough to break the legs of any charging horses.

Aris,

Can you bring them to the meet tonight if you're going? I'd like to check them out.
