April 14th Squid Day

We're gonna try out Likelys spot. Its gonna be in Menlo park, the people from the East Bay are gonna be meeting at the Gas Station off of the Ardenwood rd exit off of 84 in FREMONT. Just head towards the Dumbarton bridge, take the exit, turn right and you'll see the gas station on your left hand side........it right across the street from a Jack in the Box. Meet there at 11:00 am and we'll roll to the spot. BRING BRIDGE TOLL , we're gonna be crossing the Dumbarton Bridge.

Likely will be posting the meeting spot for the south bay/peninsula people.

Or if anyone has any better suggestions, let hear them.

The Milpitas spot wont work cause the Milpitas PD has no tolerance for any type of gatherings. They already have the street racing problems and remember "Sportbike Night" at In N OUt, they rolled on everyone and kicked everyone out and people were just hanging out.

Hey that's a good idea, we probably don't want to hang out too long in one place anyway, if we're going to cruise around might as well cruise by to check out other spots.

Regardless of the place we end up choosing, I will show up this Sunday. But as for practice... I'll be at my spot and I'll be happy if I see you there.

REMEBER, if you are closer to the East Bay/Fremont area, meet at my spot first. If you aer closer to Marsh rd off of 101 meet at Likelys spot.

Simple all you San Jose people. Take 101 north to marsh. Make a left off teh exit. Chevron is right there on the left side. I am heading straight to the chevron from my house. :twofinger

What goes on during these Squid days?

squid days are basically get togethers where people do everything w/ their bikes except ride through turns. Anything to do w/ straight line riding is fair game (w/ the exception of drag racing due to space restrictions). whatever tricks you want to pull or attempt is encouraged.

You can participate, watch and hang out or both. :) I video tape cause I have nothing else better to do. ;)

see you guys there. i'll probably be in the forest green blazer again. I'll be attempting to drive a stick again tonight and see how that goes. Possibly be in a Tacoma 4X4 if I can drive a stick to pick up the R6 from BTBs place (assuming it really isn't parted out. :twofinger).

I'm going to try to make it, but I didn't realize the meeting spot was 30 miles away. hehe

I'm going to head up 85 to 87N, then hit 101N till I hit Marsh.

If anyone wants to meet on Blossom Hill/Snell, let me know by 10, I'll probably roll out of here no later than 10:30.
