Besides them being a little on the soft side (good for grip, bad for road debris) don't you guys worry abou the heat cycle issue with slicks on the street? I've heard that this is the main reason (outside of jonny law) to not run slicks off the track.
Any comments appreciated.

I used slicks on my 650r to street ride and never had a problem.They do tend to collect ricks but fall off with riding.Just dont ride them on the street in the rain,dont get me wrong it is fun as hell but is dangerous.Slicks add to the fun of being a sm rider.If your worried about not being legal put some grooves in them.
