Any suggestions?
Going this weekend and am super excited.
Reno looks like a street road (Palomar Mountain) sans guardrails...just saw and onboard vid, looks pretty sweet.
Heard that it was bumpy though, any thoughts?
Cant wait for thill, been drooling for a couple years now and finally can make it out.
If you are going this weekend please let me know so I meet you guys:teeth

We spent last weekend at Thunderhill and stayed at the Amerihost (several friends told us it was newer and nicer than the Best Western next door). It was an acceptable hotel...nothing special. My complaints were that I thought the towels at the Amerihost kinda sucked...next time I'll be taking my own towels and they locked everyone out of their rooms, so when we came back from being at the track all day Saturday we were locked out.

I'm not a big fan of the Best Western, but hey it's a bed and a shower. We'll be staying at the Amerihost this weekend to check that place out. Are you going to be there too? Which days?

Driving up from San Diego saturday morning ish... Staying at ?? somewhere for reno and will ride sunday. We are then hoofing it to the amerihost(as per your suggestion) for sunday night. Crash out and get ready for monday at Thill. This will be my first time to either tracks and Im suuuuuper excited.
I will be in the B+ group and will have a bike with the number 20 and 99...lol 20 in the front and 99 on the tail, man Im ghetto.
After that we are making the charge home...

After my experience with roaches and gnats at best Western, I've been going to Amerihost ever since.

Good luck...two days ago I wasn't able to book any rooms in Fernley, and am now at a Super 8 35 miles away in Reno!
Speaking of Palomar Mountain, I'll be in San Diego in a few weeks and would love a tour of this famous spot. If you are in Reno over Labor Day weekend, please come introduce yourself. :teeth

In any case would love to meet and show you around that place. Its definitely my stomping ground, should be leading a group ride up there soon. Hit me up with a PM and I can leave you my number.
If you see a bike with two numbers 20_99 say hi...cant afford nice plastics LOL or even a matching set

I've never had problems with Best Western as long as I've been there - both at Reno and Thunderhill. I guess you can't really go wrong with either one. What are Amerihosts prices like?
