I've heard from 3 different people now about the people at Sand Hill paving a new Kart/SM track. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

There is another thread here showing their TT track from satalite, where is Sand Hill? Livermore?

Found it, directly south of Oakley on Camino Diablo, Brentwood. So, who knows the powers that be out there? I'd love to find out if there's any truth to this!!!

I ran into one of the owners at a gas station out here in Brentwood at the start of summer. He saw me fillin' up the ktm and said hi. They are trying to get it together but we'll see it it really happens.
In the past they have had some serious legal issues out there. Story I heard was some jackoff got hurt because he rode like a knob and then got a slimey lawyer to sue the shit out of the place. They were found at fault for the placement of a water truck or something- the guy was out when he was supposed to be in and got hurt. Again, I don't know the details on how it was settled but I believe it resulted in them loosing their insurance and the place closing for a while.
If someone can clear up the details that'd be great :thumbup
Anyway, it's like 20 minutes from my house so it would be cool if it happened. I would have to seriously consider getting a 'real' sm for track only duty. I'm too scared to take it out there for the Friday night tt's. A tt125 is more my speed for something like that.

The owner of Sand Hill is Stockton regular no? I believe Anderson is his last name and he rides a Suzuki 250F. His daughter Steffany rides a pink and purple Honda 250F.

I hope I'm not confusing these people.

Yup. Now that I think about it, I talked to him about his kart/SM track project at Stockton over a year ago.

That'd be great if he went ahead with it! :thumbup
