RX7 Corsair - shield or glasses

after a long and exhausting search for the best deal on the planet for an Arai RX7 Corsair - finally got what I think is dealer cost @ Fremont Cycle Center (HD).

Anyways - i'm coming from an Arai Signet and i always thought changing the shields was a pain in the ass.

So i've decided to use the clear for now and maybe use some plastic rimmed sunglasses for bright days.

Anyone out there have experience with swapping shields or using shades with this particular helmet?

I swap sheilds pretty much daily. It is easy after the first 5 times.

But the first 5 times you'll keep thinking you've broken it.

If you change frequently, every couple months take the shield mounts apart and tighten things up again. It'll be like a new helmet.

For me, wearing sunglasses underneath my helmet puts a lot of pressure on my temples, so I use tinted/clear shields.

The shield-swap procedure takes practice. Just keep at it.
