I love the twisties as much as the next rider (especially in my Ex500), but I ultimately much prefer roads with sweepers.
I love being able to maintain a lean at higher speeds than one would do on twisties, where you need to flick your bike left and right.
BUT, I don't know which roads are rich with sweepers. Anyone know?

I80 to Tahoe. Be careful in early spring, road is still dirty from snow sanding.
I 191 southern Utah thru the canyon lands.
Both roads will allow triple digits to get the buzzz....
Ooopps... z rated tires....

How fast do you have to be going for it to be considered a "sweeper"?

Highway 162, from Quincy to Lake Oroville. I rode it this weekend. Great sweeping turns that can easily be hit at 50-70 on a sporty. Pavement is picture perfect for about 95% of the time. There are a couple of areas that are under repair, and hence some gravel...but it is not spead over the pavement, but rather a couple of short dirt sections(30-40 ft long) covered with gravel. There is also a detour up near Bucks Lake, that will take you off the beaten path, but the pavement on this detour is fresh, and actually enjoyable.;) Be warned though... The first thing I saw when I turned onto the detour was a sign that said...speeding truckers will be SHOT!:laughing :laughing :wow When I was riding down 162 (also known as quincy oroville highway) I was wondering where all the sport bikes were:shhh Enjoy it if you can, it's a great ride.:teeth

Best I've found in the state is 96 along the Klamath river from Eureka to the Oregon border/I-5.

I did I80 back and forth over the Labor Day weekend when I visited family at Reno. I was right - I love sweepers. :teeth
I was hoping there'd be more that's closer to me. D'ah well, guess I'll just have to ride longer more often.
