Any BARF'ers atT-hill on Sat.??
It was my very first trackday, enjoyed it. I was also in the B- group. Went with Terry Nugwin.
Some guy on a blue Kawi binned it, looks like he lowsided from the pics I saw at the gotBluemilk tent..glad he was okay though and was on his feet.
oh yeah Thanks Lance for finding my wallet somewhere in the paddock area!! Good karma points for you!! :teeth
Sadly I wasn't able to drag knee but that was least of my worries. I had to familairize myself with the track and also my first experience with the M3 I just put on the day before. otherwise it was a great day and started picking up the pace in the PM sessions.
Oh yeah, to the guy on the red R6 (w/ race plastics) you're fast! And thanks for showing me your lines and I tried to keep up :)

The guy on the blue Kawi was me...also my first trackday. My back end just slipped out from under me. Some people think it's a old used up street tire, but I don't think I warmed up the tires enough. :(

I can agree on the tires not warm enough since it was the first session after lunch!

I think we meant on Saturday morning as you guys where filling air for your tires at Lance's registration area. I actually wanted to run a few laps with you guys since we were in the same B- group but I always went out a minute or two after the group heads out so never caught up. Terry might recall as I was putting around on a mini dirt pit bike and dropped by later in the day to say hello.
There seemed to be a bit more off roading than I've seen in the past. Turn 14 seem to be biting a lot of riders in the B- group so don't be sad you didn't drag knee, be super glad you didn't drag knee (butt, arms, helmet and bike) :teeth
Do what I do, buy used knee pucks :cry
Hope to see you guys there again. Until then, here's a picture of me sliding the entire bike, laying down darkies and near the point of breaking into another dimension, if you consider 2:50 at THill another dimension :laughing

haha hey whats up dude? yea it was good times there and i'll be working more on my body positioning so i can maneuver these turns easier. I felt stiff the first time out but as the day went on i got more comfortable with the track and started getting lower. Yea we should do another trackday sometime tai, i think thats how u spell ur name. Until then, take it easy!

LOL that's funny!
yeah I remember you now :) it was cool to to have talked to you in a few! yeah I wasn't too worried about dragging knee. I wanted to familiarize myself to the track being my first time there. plus I didn't plan on binning it since it was my b-day present for myself and would like to keep riding the whole day
yeah we should definitely hook up again the next trackday. I am planning on oct. 7th or 8th

What is this 'or' business? What we should be trying to schedule is the 'AND' word in there as a replacement :teeth

Frame sliders saved most of my bike....the worse damage was prolly my frame sliders and stator cover

http://www.bayarearidersforum.com/forums/images/threads/000/176/916/2694417-small.jpg OMG! yes that is me behind her, I believe that is turn 6 since that's where Dito's posse (or him) moved to in the PM sessions! I was looking at my photo album at bluemilk and swore that I should have a shot with another rider in front of me in that turn! :laughing
And no I didn't tried to pass I just decided to coast through the turn with her in front.
It was an awesome feeling! :barf
that's awesome! I didn't even knew the rider was a female! ;)

Do you mind if I get a copy of the high resolution of that? I bought a cd from Dito and didn't have those shots in the set :(

The only place you might worry about that is when you're in higher gears on the fast straights, so you can tuck your head down more.
Otherwise, you want to be as far forward on the seat as you can. Get intimate with the tank. And then get your head out there over your inside forearm/wrist. See where Racer X's head is compared to yours?
