My old man just got back from Iraq with some pictures. The ones I'm about to post he said he didn't take, I guess there was a guy on the main base (Iraqi Airport) selling this DVD with thousands of pics from over there for like $10 so he bought it.

But you know the big bad USA should just pack up everything and pull out and just let them kill each other off --- then go back and clean the place up and sell some great desert property. Could make a lot more money that’s for sure.

The point is that they were at one time allies because they were in position to fight America's longer term enemies, such as Iran and the Soviet Union. Why are they now enemies? It eerily parallels the British, French, and even Roman empires regarding occupying foreign soil, and the real answer to why and who is "benefiting/profiting."

Rent the documentary "Why We Fight." Its created around Dwight D. Eisenhower's concern and warning around the Military Industrial Complex, and provides one perspective of how America is now engaged in Iraq, and the history of our government regarding the defense industry dating back to the 1950s. Its a great mix of history and current affairs. Very informative and not meant to disuade your opinion, but hopefully gives the public more information to make their own opinion, and question why.

Another good read may be "Overthrow, America's Century of Regime Change from Hawaii to Iraq" by Stephen Kinzer.

100% correct sir. I myself have wondered why that is. I mean damn near every single country, territory, etc.. that we have dispensed "foriegn aid" to, has come back in one way shape or form to bite us on our own ass.

Wow, this is hillarious. First I'll try to understand if you think there is no difference between Iraqi's and Pakistan's based on the fact of their religion (Muslim) or if you truely believe there is no difference between the two.:confused

Muslim's who truely practice are not all hell bent on killing westerners, only the nut job fundilmentalists that use their idolgy to control others by fear. The muslim side of my family that still lives in Bosnia has never been to the middle east, has never forced their women to wrap themselves up like ninjas, and has never required anyone to go to the mosque. Maybe because they're european muslims and not as hardcore, but still, every single person in my family, muslim or orthodox, is against what Hamas, Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda,etc are doing.
