Hey M,
Is there any way you can digitally zoom that or anything?
That's such a nasty nasty sound... scrape (12 o'clock)... tumble tumble sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiide

it should be about 12sec of vid. made it VCD (pre-DAT xfer) format. having probs w/ it? should work fine w/ an MPEG-1 viewer.
i think he was alright except for some scrapes on his hands and rash on his gear (i noticed his t-shirt was a little torn up after he took off his jacket). Mr. K can probably give us more info on his friend's condition.
would have put up more but no 1 wants to see my limping ass...right? :rolleyes
not sure how to zoom in on the vid. i'm using a very rudimentary vid editor and can only do basic edits. anyone know how? BTB? i have premiere 6 though i don't have it installed due to space...

I watched the full 12 seconds, in real life!!! :D Not that I'm bragging about it, but the crash actually looked worse from behind than it did on the vid from the front.
I think the guy is ok though, after we took him home, he had called his insurance company and had already made a claim on the bike. I'm sure he'll be even better once his bike is fixed.

ya, too bad likely didn't get vid from the other side.
good to know he'll be up n' running and he's not seriously hurt.
i'll see what i can do about zooming in on the crash. if anyone has tips on doing that, let me know.

that vid looked like me today:( ...i went a little crazy trying to get higher and higher with my wheelies and ended up doing a 12 o'clocker, i'll get some pics of the damage up soon. surprisingly it wasn't as bad as mr. K's friend, just a bent shifter, some rash on the lower fairing and broken tail light....thank god for the sliders.... it couldve been wayyy worse

hey, you're alright though right?
good thing i just watch and tape now (not entirely by choice) cause I know i would've dumped it trying something by now.
ya, he didn't have sliders on his bike. heh, funny thing. i bought my sliders AFTER i lowsided. :rolleyes

newbino went down too? dang, sorry to hear that too. how did it happen exactly - from the 12 or the landing? wheelies are just too much fun but you know what they say about too much anything :p

I guess I'm nominated for the dump trophy :D, but yeah, it all happened as i got too happy with my wheelies, sure they looked pretty good, but the last one flipped me and my bike over....I'm left with battle scars on two parts of my body ,rashed ass and inner knee area, it hurts like hell too and a big time bruised ego, but thank god my bike is perfectly fine, except the tail, which scraped the ground after getting to 12 o'clock...ahh well, lesson learned, BTW I still rode my bike the next day, goes to show how much sliders can help. Best investment i ever made for my bike.
You gotta post a thread saying you went down then Mr. O is supposed to pass it on to you.
*edit* Post it in General though.
