Exceptional red 2000 Ducati Monster 900ie with 9100 miles for sale.

This Monster is ONE OF A KIND! You've got to look at the picts. It is a definite HEADTURNER with its unique look and awesome sound. This Monster has been customized with extreme attention to details. I have invested thousands of dollars in parts alone:

Daro Moto Dual Headlights Fairing
Daro Moto engine Spoiler
Ducati Performance High-Position Carbon Fiber Exhaust Pipes
Head Mounted Clip-ons from RoadRacing Italia
Carbon Fiber Side Panels
Carbon Fiber Rear Fender Eliminator from Carbon Dream Italia
Red Anodized Aluminum Side Air Intakes from RoadRacing Italia
Gold Anodized Aluminum Vented Clutch Cover from RoadRacing Italia
Gold Anodized Aluminum Pinion Cover from RoadRacing Italia
Gold Billet Adjustable Brake lever
Gold Billet Adjustable Clutch lever
Gold Aluminum Bar Ends
Aluminum Bolt Kits - Gold from Poggipolini
Side-stand Engine Cut-off Bypass
K&N Air Filter

This Ducati has been meticulously maintained, always garaged, never raced, never on the track and always serviced by the Ducati Dealer where it was purchased.

You will find more photos on:
Bikepics (http://www.bikepics.com/members/pierre/00m900/)
and on
My server (http://www.thereynes.com/)

Bike is flawless except for a few small chips on fairing and engine spoiler from flying rocks while riding. Tires are Dunlop D207 almost new. I have all the receipts from service done.

More than $16K invested.

$16,000 invested? What, is that including the bike and the scheduled maintainance?

Bike has been sitting in my garage for a year and a half now. I start it once in a while but still, the battery keeps dying because of lack of usage. I love the way it looks and the sound but I am not riding on the street anymore...

Someone make me an offer! ;)

That bike has some nice mods... Ducati pipes are pricey!

It's worth around $8000 - $9000 I'd guess. But I doubt you will get that much for it.. the market is kind of weak. People who buy "enthusiast" type bikes are the ones being hurt right now too.

Yup. That is what i have been saying. Craig agrees. You can get crazy cheap ducatis now. 10k for a 2001 996 ... 9 or so for a 2000. 748s for 7-8k. monsters are pulling in way less.
