Main Jet Question

I have read that some of you guys change the size of you main jets for performance purposes. Can you explain the difference between the higher and lower sizes and what is accomplished by doing this?

You don't get more power by changing jets, you get more power by correctly matching jet size to the requirement of the motor. If you increase main jet size on a stock motor, with stock exhaust and intake, you will end up with a rich running motor and less power.
