1980 Honda CBX 1050CC I6

In very good overall condition. Has about 25K miles on it. All the parts are in original condition, the paint is excellent except some rust on the corners of the tank. The chrome could also use a good buff! The seat is in excellent condition.

Tires are in great shape as well!

$5000 OBO

You have no clue what a CBX is, do you? Here's a clue: count the cylinders.

wow.

first thing thats comes to mind is "inline 6 - WTF !??!?!"

and yea, sorry but $5k is pretty high

Not near enough, parted it would bring 15-20 k, rare, beautiful and sounds better than any bike on the road with a 6-1 pipe, I'll be checking on funds monday.

I love it when some SBK clowns chime in on some shit they don't even know about, actin' like they're experts :laughing

I saw a CB-X at a local bike shop here in Davis, and man, that thing looked incredible. Definitely an awesome bike, good luck with the sale.

I've got a couple of CBX's too. They are a lot of fun to ride and there is a quite a following for the old bike. Check out the latest Cycle World. Enthusiasts will go to great lenghts to showcase the huge 6 cylnder engine and if you've ever heard one uncorked with a 6 into 1 header you know it sounds like an F-1 car on two wheels. It's still a pretty amazing machine being some 26-27 years since it was introduced here the the states in 1979.

reasonable offers always accepted :teeth

Wow! Sweet bike! Good luck with the sale man!

yeah, ya do gotta give it props for being in such good condition an for being so damn rare.

There was a nearly identical CBX at Fastline about a year ago and that one was $8K but it was also restored to showroom condition. $5k is reasonable for a clean CBX - you won't find them much cheaper unless they're trashed and then it's sort of pointless to buy the bike unless you're looking for a project.

Good luck with the sale! Awesome bike!!

that is a fuckin tight bike gluck on sale

i used to have an 82 CB900. CBX would put it to shame..

I too have a 79 CBX.

On this one, rotors look like 79 pieces (not vented). but the wheels are 80 pieces. Paint scheme is 79 of course.

I have bought and sold a couple recently. in my opinion, without hearing it run, I would say its worth about 4K on e-bay. The big plus is you have the stock air box. But the aftermarket exhaust is a minus of course.

The greatest souding bike in the history of mankind is a CBX on a 6-1 pipe with pod filters. Incredible. SOmebody needs to buy this bike.

Wish I had mojo right now.
Oh how I love the clueless "biker boys" coming in to bash the heck out of something (yet again) they know nothing about.

The CBX is one of honda's craziest idea's I've ever seen (ok ok the NSR 750 is up there too!) but an inline 6, standard :eek

Good luck on the sale, and definatly DON'T part it out.. Consider ebay....
