OK. One step closer to being fully back into minis. :D I took home my brand new NSR50 from Fremont Honda/Kawasaki a few weeks ago thanks to eddiecycles. The experience overall was great. Eddie is one busy man there in Fremont. PM him if you are interested in getting a brand new NSR50 locally. ;) The shop was great and got there when they were doing their official grand opening party. Free hot dogs, chips, and drinks. But I didn't get to eat a hot dog while I was there. :(

Anyways, the bike has only been started once. I rode it up and down the street once after I got it home to make sure everything ran. I've been busy as usual the past 3 weeks so I haven't had a chance to play with the new toy.

Maninal already gave me the run down on how to break in the bike. It currently has a 1/2 tank of 40:1 in there for the upcoming break in.

Now some questions:

- Where is a good place to buy the baja kit to make the bike street legal for next year? ;)
- Where can I buy the JDM headlight?
- Anyone here have any good places to buy extra plastics? I saw the 600RR replica plastics and I may buy those for track use since it doesn't have headlight holes. Anyone have personal experience with the replica plastics?
- Where can I start reading about what I need to do to make it out to Stockton with you guys for some practice time? :D

You have PM back. ;)

I can't wait to ride this thing around. Hopefully it will help me improve on my riding skills and body positioning.

Again, Congrats on the new ride......and what Mario said! Also, looking forward to you joining the Formula 50 & Super 50 grid with us :teeth

Also, being that you're new to the Mini Racing scene, a must is the Beginners class.

ps, sent you a PM

Yup beginners class for me please. :D

Actually the other questions I had for stockton were, what are the costs for joining practices and then races at the end? What are the steps needed? Do I need to give my first born to join the club? :D

Maybe Manimal needs to make a sticky outlining how to join you guys for either practice sessions or racing? ;)

secn8ure: I forgot that I already put the bike in my sig. LOL

(edit: reading the sticky now) :laughing
