If you don't get enough BIG Bike responses, you care to make this into another Mini Ride? :toothless

Even tho' I have the Derbi motor out of the YSR currently, it won't take much effort to get the bike ready for another street ride. I only ask for a 2 day notice........one day for the wife to give me the ok (lol) and the other to put the bike back together :teeth Oh yeah, Sat is better for me too :) Altho' I need to be home before 3pm.

Todd, Glad to know you're still around. Are you ever coming back to Stockton?

OK so Saturday it is. Please check in Friday.

If the response is low, mini bike it is. So... that would make it 5th ride this year?

Patterson sounds good. Does it connect to Mines Rd. and Hamilton? I have not ridden in that area before so I'm for this route. Can you lead the group?

Patterson, CA, right? :teeth

Mario likes literbike adventure rides that are at least 13 hours long but it sounds like we're okay.

I've ridden Mt Hamilton to Livermore (Mt Hamilton & Mines) a few times but never Del Puerto Canyon to Patterson.

If that's the route we ride, I guess some of us will meet in Livermore, the others in San Jose?

Please, please, please everbody come ride. I'm really looking forward to this.

OK. Let's see if I can escape this Saturday. It'll be fun to ride big bikes with Mario and Tom. Not that isn't fun riding with you too Mark :). I haven't done a Mines to Patterson run for a long time. Does anyone know what the conditions are on Mines right now?

I may be interested in a ride on Saturday, what are the details. I'm in Castro Valley so I would approach from Livermore. Mines Rd. is a good ride but you have to watch for the cops in Livermore.

What's the time line and were to meet on the Livermore side.

Mines/Patterson it is!

I'll update my post on the first page.

I think 10 AM is a good start time. I've never ridden these roads so I can't be your lead. If I did, I'll slow everybody down anyway. :p

Hoping to get a response for road condition... http://www.bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=186218

How about meeting at California Speed-Sports, Inc. 2310 Nissen Drive. Livermore. This is the Aprilia dealer.

What are you guys riding? Should I bring the 400 or the 125?

Most of us will be on a 600.

I know where Speedsports is. I'm coming from Hayward btw.

Yes the extrema is road worthy. I have some jetting (running a little rich) to mess around with and the fork seals are leaking a little. I have to say, it is a blast to ride. It sounds like a pissed off hornet with that Joly Moto exhaust.

I can't believe how light it is, only 230lbs. Took almost four months to diassemble, fix, paint and reassemble. It sure looks sweet. I hit 95mph on it a couple of weekends ago. Not bad for a big fat guy on a 125.

If I bring it I will definately be in back, but that's OK I love riding it anyway. Definately won't see another one.

Everybody, make sure we top off with fuel.

Well..... I just checked the mileage to the meeting spot and it's 48.3 miles from my home to Star$$$. That's almost 100mi round trip and that's not counting the ride itself. I think that might be a bit much for me and my 32 y/o cafe bike. If you guys were riding out to walnut creek or through the oakland hills I would meet you.
Let me know.

That was the most fun I've had riding on the street in years. Great accomplices and roads. Losing 65 horsepower and 100 pounds by DRZ-SM versus R6 didn't hurt either.

More pleez!
