recomendations??? kx250/250f/450f.

im looking at buying a dirtbike here within the next 2 weeks or so... id like to go kawi whats your your guys opinions... im looking at the kx 250, kx250f and the 450f... would any of you know what the power difference would be from the 250 to the 250f??
and total power difference from the 250/250f to the 450f model...
im just lookin for somethin for some trail and track riding... mostly just mashin around though..

another option would be a klx300 but i havent heard any reviews on those.....

and your guys thaught on 2 and 4 stroke engines... what are the ups and downs???

any help would be greatly appreciated, as i have only ridden a few dirtbikes here and there and dont really know the differences.

When I stepped up from minibikes this year, I went with a 250F.
They do not have the power of the 450's but if you are good enough you can keep up with them, especially on smaller tracks. They are a little lighter. If you did decide to race, there are a lot of classes that the 250f can race in.

im not looking to race, just looking for what would be the best to buy for a weekend masher... Ya know, take it out to the boonies and just screw around...

im thinkin the kx 250 would be ok, thats what im hearing from a few people... ive heard they are pretty snappy with a nice top end speed to them, and do pretty well on jumps.

mx 4-strokes need more maintence then 2-strokes.
