Hear Ye, Hear Ye!!!
Sorry to change things but I think this will work out the best for everyone. This should be a great reason to come on out for the meeting. Just got off the phone with Chris and it looks like we are going to have an open track day on Sunday the 17th at Stockton.
Come on out, bring the kids, the bikes and your friends!
I'll have 2007 membership entry forms as well as the 2006 banquest forms for those who will be attending. Plus you get to ride! Now how can you beat that?
Gates open at 8:00am and we'll run till 5:00pm
Cost for practice will be $25 per rider.
See you all then

Drag, I'm working my karting job in Ventura that day. Too bad, sounds like a fun way to get a lot of good ideas on the table.

Pay at the gate. No need to register in advance. Mini-bikes and motards. It's a kart track.

I just bought my bike and am getting it street worthy. Anything special I need to do to the bike before I can take it on the track? I'm assuming it's like a big bike trackday so all those norms would carry over. I have a XR650R if that matters any.

drain coolant, replace with distilled h2o or waterwetter+h2o
drill and safety wire filler cap and oil plug.... etc, etc.
depending on tire choice/brand, tire pressures are alot lower.

No. The practices are broken into groups; big bikes, minis, and pocketbikes and sometimes small children.

Daym my truck is still acting up every so often. I think it may be my transmission. :( Since stockton is a little ways away from San Jose/Milpitas I don't think I should risk getting stranded out on the freeway if the truck does die out on me.

Nope...still had to ride in the "little kids" group. Someday, someday...I might be worthy enough to be with the "small adults". Maybe I can make that a goal for 2008. :teeth

Sushi chefs penalized -50 points, -5 point penalty for every pound of body weight under 175 lbs, Japanese -30 points, graphics on bike -10 points per square inch, all that missed the last race in 2006 for any reason other than a trip to somewhere tropical must overinflate their tires by 5 psi for all races on a full moon and run 40/10/1 gasoline/diesel/premix oil
Sure you're elligible but you won't win :twofinger
:teeth
Just kidding, Minoru, I love you man.
NSR cup means "stock NSR" just like "stock YSR".

Man, guess I gotta put some bricks in my leathers so I can make the 175 lb cutoff.
What if you have a ghetto gas tank with a cap that sometimes opens? that has to be worth something.
