About Stockton Motoplex?
Stockton Motoplex is an outdoor 1/2 mile Kart track (w/ various track layouts).

$20 for SMRRC members

From Northbound I-5.
Take the CA.- Hwy. 4 / Charter Way exit. Turn right onto Charter Way. Continue on Charter Way. The track will be on the right hand side. On the corner of Charter Way & Airport Way.
From Southbound I-5.
Take the CA.- Hwy. 4 / Charter Way exit. Turn left onto Charter Way. Continue on Charter Way. The track will be on the right hand side. On the corner of Charter Way & Airport Way.
From Northbound 99.
Take the Mariposa Rd. exit towards Escalon. Keep left at the fork in the ramp. Then keep right at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto Mariposa Rd. / CR-J7. Turn left onto CA-26 / Charter Way. Continue on Charter Way. The track is on the left hand side. On the corner of Charter Way & Airport Way.
From Southbound 99.
Take the Charter Way West exit. Continue on Charter Way. The track is on the left hand side. On the corner of Charter Way & Airport Way.
Day(s)?
Every Monday (all year 'round)), 10AM till 9PM (under lights). Unless otherwise noted.
During the SMRRC race season, Tuesdays are 'typically' open for practice too (when officially announced).
NOTE: Tuesdays are the kart practice days. That said, if/when road bikes are permitted on these days, sessions will be split accordingly (karts & bikes).
Weekend Practice?
Only on a Saturday before a scheduled SMRRC Race Sunday.
Typical hours are from 2:00pm till 10:00pm.

All skill levels are welcome! from Beginner to Expert.

What kind of bikes are practiced at Stockton Motoplex?
*Pocketbikes: from China to European/Italian
*Mini motards: 2-stroke 50cc up to 60cc, 4-stroke 50cc's up to 125cc dirt bikes w/ road racing tires.
*Mini Road Racers: YSR, NSR, NS50, Derbi GPR/SM, Aprilla RS, Metrakit (12" & Big Wheel), and alike 2 & 4 stroke Motors.
*Big Wheel bikes: 2-stroke 80cc up to 125cc Road racers and or motard, 4-stroke 150cc (and up) dirt or dual sport bikes, w/ road race tires.
When are they allowed on the track?
Depending on the variety of bikes that show on a given day, "Sessions" may/will be split as follows:
*Pocketbikes and or Juniors
*Mini's (YSR, GPR, Metrakit and alike, Mini motards 50cc to 125cc)
*BIG bikes (2-stroke 80cc and up and or 4-stroke motards 150cc and up).
Bike Preperation for a Track Day:
*Water Cooled bikes: Replace Coolant with either water or a mix Distilled water w/ Water Wetter (by Red-line).
*Oil Drain plugs must be safety wired
*Catch Bottles (to capture any fluids that may spill onto the track surface if a crash occurs). Call Matt for specific details
*Mirrors MUST be removed from any motorcycle
*Headlamp, Tail, Turn signals are recommend to be covered using duct tape or alike.
All Motards (dirt bike/dual sport with road tires) and or alike must have the following sliders/protection installed:
Bar-end protection
Peg sliders
front axle and swing-arm/axle (under debate).
All Road Racer Bikes MUST have the following Sliders:
Bar-end protection (Delrin is recommended, or equiv)
Foldable/collapsable pegs are OK
Those who have "fixed" (non-collapsable) pegs will need some type of protection added, or Peg sliders.
(Not only for hard part protection, but mostly, track protection). When a fall occurs, the track gets damaged. Keep in mind, we track on a "kart" track. We will be allowed to share the track as long as we do our best to protect the "NEW" track surface.......In advance, thanks for your cooperation and participation :)

Self Safety Protection?
Any variety of Motocross Protection is considered minimal (Pants, Armour, Jersey, Boots, Gloves, Chest Protector, Helmet (dirt w/ goggles or full face)), 1 or 2 piece Leather suit w/ boots, gloves and helmet. Work type boots are permitted. Back Protectors are highly suggested.
